Based in Illinois, Judith Abraham is an experienced registered nurse and healthcare manager with three decades of experience. Her first supervisory role was at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where she spent time as a care coordinator for the obstetrics and gynecology units. Judith Abraham’s 20 years of service at Advocate Lutheran were highlighted by a 2003 delivery, in which she was credited with saving the lives of a mother and her newborn child.
Judith Abraham subsequently served as the assistant director of perinatal services at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, before accepting the position of Director of Women’s Services at Centegra Hospital in McHenry, IL. This is where she learned the day to day operation of people and hospital management. In this role, she guided the medical center through the updating and modernization of its OB department, and in addition, the system wide float pool. She started doing travel nursing in 2012, doing both bedside and interim leadership. She served at a critical access hospital in Thermopolis Wyoming as an interim director to update, create and revise unit policies and procedure, and modernize the OB/Gyne unit. Most recently, she worked as the interim manager of women’s services at the Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago.
Ms. Abraham studied nursing at Elmhurst College in Illinois, receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2011. She continued her education at Lewis University, completing the school’s master of arts program in organizational leadership, with a minor in Coaching. She holds an additional Diploma degree in nursing from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1986.
